Doctoral Research Scholar Ms. Mounika Pandey from the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences (DFNS), Anantapur Campus, SSSIHL, won the ‘Best Oral Presentation’ for her paper entitled ‘Association of Dietary Insulin Index and Insulin Load on Diabetes, Obesity, and Cardiometabolic Health: A Scoping Review’ at the 6th International Conference on Food and Nutrition, held online on October 25-26, 2023.
Organized by the Universal Society of Food and Nutrition (USFN), the event saw over 169 presentations made by participants in multiple breakout sessions.
Presented under the ‘Food Nutrition and Health’ track, the paper was co-authored by Prof. N. Srividya, Research Supervisor, and Ms. Manogna Pathri, MSc, DFNS. The study analyzed dietary insulin indices for their association with different metabolic biomarkers.
