‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav‘ an excellent initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has had great reach and impact on the student community across the country.
Highly motivated and charged, the students and staff of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning participated with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm in the Har Ghar Tiranga program and the Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, leading to the 76th Independence Day celebrations, also commemorating 75 glorious years of Indian Independence, as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations.
It allowed them to revisit and remember India’s rich history, heritage, culture, and achievements and to pay homage to the valiant sons and daughters of our Motherland for their sacrifices, by rising to the call and presenting their patriotism through various activities like flag hoisting, music, theatre, panel discussions, speeches, declamation and more.
