Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning Hosts Inspiring Science Modeling Exhibition as part of National Science Day 2024 Celebrations

Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning organized a Science Modeling Exhibition on December 16th, 2023, at the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus to commemorate National Science Day 2024. The event witnessed an exceptional turnout of enthusiastic participants from various schools, showcasing their innovative models and scientific acumen.

National Science Day 2024 celebrations are conducted in collaboration with Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, Smt Eswaramma High School, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini, and Nexus Consulting, inviting students from Class 8 to Class 12 across India. The celebrations encompass a range of competitions, including Essay Writing, Painting, Quiz, and Science Modeling contests, culminating in the finals scheduled for February 27^th and 28^th, 2024, at the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus, of SSSIHL, Puttaparthi.

The inauguration, graced by Prof. B. Raghavendra Prasad, Vice-Chancellor of SSSIHL, and esteemed guests, marked the commencement of the event. Students showcased their creativity through diverse models, on the broad theme of innovation in Science & Technology.

The event saw an active participation of around 250 students representing various schools in and around Puttaparthi, including Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School (Boys & Girls Wing), Smt Eswaramma High School, Sai Vidyalaya School, Vasavi School, and Zilla Parishad High School contributing to the exhibition’s success.

In the afternoon, the exhibition was open to the public and saw over 150 visitors, including parents, students and teachers from neighboring schools witness the remarkable creations of the students. The displays captivated the audience, earning admiration for the young minds’ scientific ingenuity.

Beyond being a platform for students to display their scientific prowess, the event emphasized the importance of science and innovation in education. The collaborative efforts of participating schools and the dedication of the students were instrumental in the triumph of National Science Day 2024.
