The divine bond of love between Mother Sita and Sri Rama, the unwavering devotion of Lakshmana, the profound humility of Hanuman, and the enduring brotherhood exemplified by Bharata—each unfolds its own invaluable lesson.
This play ‘Divya Prema’ by the students of SSSIHL is merely a rivet in that bridge—an instance of that profoundness taking us through the challenges faced by characters in the Ramayana, the repercussions of their choices, the resolution found in surrender, and the ultimate reward of bliss.
The play parallels the experiences of its protagonists—Sai students—with events from the Ramayana to drive home relevant insights. It highlights how every decision involves considerations of what, when, why, how, and where, and a flaw in just one can cast a shadow over the entire outcome.
Life, it suggests, doesn’t always introduce you to the people you want to meet but puts you in touch with those you need to meet—whether to help, hurt, love, or leave but gradually strengthens you into the person you were meant to become.
Our lives have been sanctified by entering Swami’s fold, as He has declared that He is the same Sri Rama come again and that He is searching for His former associates to assign them roles in His current mission of reviving righteousness and guiding humanity into the haven of peace. Let us pray that we too be allotted roles, and may He grant us, as a reward, the vision of that haven.
