Dr. Santanu Bhattacharya is a distinguished researcher and educator in Mathematical Biology and Applied Mathematics. His areas of expertise include Bioeconomic Modeling, Reaction-Diffusion Systems, Population Dynamics, and the integration of Mathematical Biology with Operations Research. Known for his dedication to research and teaching, Dr. Bhattacharya focuses on fostering critical thinking and innovative problem-solving among his students.
He completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Calcutta, followed by his Master’s, Doctoral, and Postdoctoral studies at Jadavpur University. Dr. Bhattacharya has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences and has published extensively in high-impact, Q1-ranked journals.
Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus, SSSIHL.
